Estate & Wines Symposium is produced at the Ciccio Zaccagnini Estate by Gino Razzi. The carefully selected Montepluciano d'Abruzzo grapes are harvested by hand. Only fully ripened and disease free clusters are picked. The vineyards from the Provinces of Chieti and Pescara, in Abruzzo, are located on gently sloping hills. The Clayey and calcareous soil composition, ideal exposure of the vineyards to the sun, combined with the local microclimate, strengthens the quality and character of the grapes. Abruzzo, long known for its Montepluciano, has reached the status of a "Primary" wine producing region. Symposium is an expression of the supreme quality of grapes and wine in which this region produces.
